Up The Buttmunch River (2016)

Speculative performance lecture given by Skype between The Americana outdoor shopping mall, Glendale CA, and The University of Reading, UK.

Part of performance lecture series "“Remote Post-human” organized by John Russell.

I gave a lecture about the relationship between language, the body, global capitalism, water, reading, and the idea of the human. The lecture was delivered in partial-character as a transmission from a being living inside the golden statue in the fountain of the Americana shopping center. As the lecture proceeded I transformed myself into a sort of golden cockroach.
